Left untreated, calcium carbonate and magnesium crusts accumulate on vital internal components—restricting water flow, clogging quick disconnects, and significantly diminishing heat exchanger thermal efficiency.

This specialized acid-detergent blend dissolves crystalline scale while utilizing protective corrosion inhibitors to safely maintain stainless steel, brass, and aluminum lines.

Step-by-Step System Descaling Procedure

1. Preparation: Disconnect the truckmount water inlet supply and solution discharge hoses.
2. Set the Water Box: Drain exactly half of the water from the water box. Ensure at least 1 gallon (approx. 4 litres) remains.
3. Warm & Dissolve: Start the engine to warm the water inside the box until it is lukewarm (never boiling hot). Slowly sprinkle the full 2 lb contents of the descaler jar into the box while running to completely dissolve the powder.
4. Circulate: Allow the machine to run for 15 minutes to push the low-pH solution deep through all internal plumbing.
5. Fresh Water Flush: Immediately reconnect the main water line and thoroughly flush the lines out with clean water for 5 minutes.
6. Acid Neutralization: Add 1/2 cup of a high-pH liquid extraction detergent (such as Prochem clear detergent) directly into the water box, running it through the system for 2 to 5 minutes to fully neutralize the residual acid lines. Complete a final water flush to leave the system completely clean and balanced.
